Back on the Alabama Bass Trail in 2023
MJ and his teammate Chris Jackson will be back in the South Division of the Alabama Bass Trail Tournament Series for the 2023 season. After having to sit out the 2022 season to fix damages his home sustained from Hurricane Ida, MJ is not only fired up but ready to hit the tournament trail full speed. Starting with back to back events, Lake Martin in late Feb and Lay Lake two weeks later, the guys feel is a great way to kickstart the season. The duo will then switch gears as they get a 6 week break before the third stop. MJ will head back to Louisiana after Lay Lake to work the Louisiana Sportsman's Show. The following week is the Bassmaster Classic and Expo in Knoxville, TN, and the week after that MJ has conference back in Louisiana. The pair will meet up again at the end of April at Lake Eufaula on the Alabama-Georgia border. Starting at stop #3, they will have a tournament every three weeks. This could give MJ and Chris the opportunity to ride the momentum from event to event, staying focused on making the cut to fish the Championship in Oct.
